ABOUT ME
Michael Black is a Sydney-based artist creating expressive paintings, murals, prints, and commissions that explore the connection between story, landscape, and human experience. Inspired by nature, personal encounters, and the narratives that shape our lives, Michael blends mixed media techniques with abstract landscapes to create visual stories that reflect our place within a larger world.
With a BA in Fine Arts (Design) from UNSW Sydney, Michael has exhibited in solo and group shows and completed a range of large-scale public artworks. Working alongside architects, designers, developers, retailers, and galleries, his practice transforms spaces through artwork that invites reflection, connection, and a deeper sense of meaning.
